Nice that the teacher was dinging the student even though he/she was doing the math correctly. I assume some earlier step was incorrect and thus the results for anything after were incorrect. Still, if the student followed the proper process, he/she should have gotten the points.

… that isn’t really the point of this web site, is it?

You are retarded; the student did NOT do the math correctly, the answer should have been negative for (c) and (d). It saddens me that you can write in complete sentences, but can’t comprehend teachers’ marks.

LOL!, I teach physics, the reason why said student did not get points is for not showing work (this is not my exam, my exam would be 1000 times harder), all problems should be solved algebraically first. And another thing, said person also forgot whenever things are arbitrarily added to calculations, whatever’s added must be put in parenthesis. But that was a lame attempt at a joke, lol.
